On October 5th, 2021 at 6am UTC (2am EDT), applications running on Amplify Runtime Services (ARS) SaaS environments will be migrated to ARS version 2.2. This ARS upgrade is expected to take up to three hours.
No downtime is expected for running ARS applications and those applications will continue to be reachable throughout the maintenance window. However, ARS will be temporarily unreachable to publish/update/delete applications and to download logs during the maintenance window.
About this upgrade:
ARS 2.2 is powered by Kubernetes technology. Thanks to rich built-in functionalities and open-source community support, users will see improvement in the following areas
- Control and monitor of cluster resources - Service discovery - Load balancing and DNS settings - High Availability - Tenancy Isolation enhancement
